I love the way this cake came out. I made this for a friends daughter for her graduation. :) Her school colors are red, black and white. I found out that those are some of the hardest colors to make (not the white of course, lol).

Loving my baking stuff
Here are more pics from the past couple weeks. :)
Vanilla Bean Bavarios
Lemon Mousse Torte with Blackberry
Me, flat icing the large portion of our sculpted cake - While I have to admit this isn't my favorite cake done, it was my first sculpted cake that I have ever done. The chef said that we did a good job on it for our first time, I just feel that my work is better than this. I found out after we finished that this cake was going to be on display for an open house of about 200 people. The only thing that the chef thinks we could have done to make it better for presentation was to use the steamer to make it all shiny and pretty, but it wasn't available to use when we all finished our cakes.
A piece cut out to show that it is cake. :)

Newest Baking Adventures
Here are my newest pics of my work. Some fun stuff here. :)
Le Fraisier Torte
This one was amazing. I loved the look and the taste!!!
Plated Desserts: Cream Puffs filled with Coffee infused Pastry Cream
with Chocolate Coffee Sauce,
pecans and a chocolate twirl
This is a showing of the three that I had a hand in, one being my own, and the other two being a combination of myself and members in my group.
