Have I said how much I am LOVING making cupcakes?

One of my best friends helped me come up with the idea for these cupcakes.  And then I was asked to make something for a church social in the morning.  I figured that I might as well experiment on those I really love, lol.

These cupcakes are called "Miriam's Maple Goodness Cupcakes" - named after the wonderful lady that helped me with the idea.  :)  They are definitely a hit and will be made again.

I had the recipe to try for these, and I knew that they just HAD to be good.  However, I have to say that they came out a lot better than even I had hoped for.  These are definitely a keeper.  :)

4th of July Cake

Things for baking lately, since graduation, have been so slow.  And because of that, I am so glad that there are holidays that I can play in the kitchen for. Here is a cake that I made to bring to our church cookout. :) The only thing that I kind of wish I had done a little differently is cut the size of the cakes down.  It is over 7" tall, lol.
